Thank you for you message and concerns raised.  Please be advised that I have forwarded your queries to an expert Holocaust researcher and friend, Dr. Eric Saul, Curator, Visas for Life, Simon Wiesanthal Center, Los Angeles, via the following email:

Dear Eric:

Perhaps you will be kind enough to allay some of the concerns expressed below about the text of the Harry Bingham website at <http://pages.cthome.net/WWIIHERO/>.  It is understandable that the below organization is seeking authentication.  It may be possible that some other organization(s) has assigned to Harry a lesser role in rescuing Marc Chagall and others than my wedsite recognizes, which could have produced some of the concerns expressed, I do not know.  I know you have devoted much research to the "righteous diplomats" in general and may be able to reply to the queries raised below regarding Harry in particular(?)   Naturally, I have relied on researchers' findings (including yours), quotes from survivors, news articles, etc. in assembling the website, and will be happy to make any amendment(s) that you may recommend for the mainpage, at <http://pages.cthome.net/WWIIHERO/>/.  Even after a stamp is issued for Harry (which I am confident will occur), I would like to maintain the site for future researchers.  Please feel free to respond to "Ilan" [last name?], 2nd Assistant to the Editor, Faces and Voices of Holocaust Survivors (below) at Contact@Isurvived.org, and email a copy of your reply to me, which I can use as a guide if a change is needed.  (I apologize in advance for any inconvenience.)  Many thanks. With warmest regards from Anne and me,

Robert Kim Bingham
Webmaster & stamp-drive coordinator."
